The Right Girds Their Loins

I find it rather sad but ultimately not surprising that embedded within an email I received yesterday was a glimpse into what an Obama presidency might mean in terms of real progress and change. From the Evans-Novak Political Report forwarded through Human Events was the following point:

• The bright point for Republicans: a Senate minority of at least 41 seats that can jam the Democratic works and prevent the sort of inevitable-march-to-progress that marked the Great Society and the New Deal.

Shame, shame, shame! Jamming an inevitable-march-to-progress in America. Now that's a cause of which any American should be proud.
